This park is located in Northwestern Rwanda and protects a portion of the world’s 1063 mountain gorillas which are left on earth today. Other interesting safari highlights in Rwanda include chimpanzee tracking/canopy walk in Nyungwe Forest National Park.   • Health tips-do not drink tap water or take ice- have for yourself a bottled drinking water. When choosing places to eat from, find good restaurants and avoid street food.
