Detailed itinerary.

Day 1: Entebbe International Airport (EBB) to Kampala.

A warm welcome from your trip leader at Entebbe Airport. Get briefed on 15 days safari in the Uganda the Pearl of Africa and after, leave the airport for Kampala to check into your reserved hotel for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 2: Kampala to Jinja-Visit Source of the R. Nile

Breakfast early morning and after, start the 1-2 hours’ drive to Jinja to visit the source of the Nile. En-route trip includes a stopover at Mabira Forest, one of the few natural forests that are left in Uganda-East Africa.

Continue to Jinja for lunch and later you have a leisurely boat experience to the source of the Nile taking you one of the greatest lakes in Africa and world over. Return to have a refreshing evening & overnight stay.

Day 3: Jinja to Trek the Triple Sipi Falls-Kapchorwa.

Enjoy a hefty breakfast on the 3rd day of your 15 days Uganda safari and after, catch up with your tour leader ready to be transferred to Sipi Falls offices. Lunch be served en-route and arrive at Triple Sipi Falls offices for briefing early.

Begin your trek with experienced guides taking you unforgettable hike to the top of 3 water falls ranging at different elevations of 100m, 85m and 75m. On this trek, you will be led to the highest point, descend to the second cascading falls and lastly, end with the lower cascading falls then walk back to where you began your journey of 3-4 hours to the top these 3 waterfalls.

Day 4: A drive to Kidepo Valley National Park.

Breakfast early morning and after, drive to Kidepo Valley National Park-Karamoja region. Your journey will include en-route lunch stop and later, have a relaxed dinner at the camp or lodge.

Day 5: Kidepo Valley National Park (full day game viewing).

After you have enjoyed an early morning breakfast, you have a complete day of game viewing in the savanna plains of Kidepo. You will set off with some packed lunch and bottled water. Your game viewing experience includes exploring diversity of species of animals (including the big game, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, waterbucks, cheetahs, birds, and lush flora) in the savanna plains and Narus Valley. Retreat from the long day game drive in savanna plains in Kidepo to enjoy a refreshing evening, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Travel to the North-western based Murchison Falls National Park.

Be offered a cup of tea or coffee early morning and after, vacate your lodge for Murchison Falls National Park in the Northern shores of Lake Albert. En-route, in Gulu city, have lunch while on 7-8 hours’ drive from Kidepo National Park.

Day 7: Murchison Falls National Park (Game drive & launch trip).

A delicious breakfast early morning and after, expect 2-3 hours game drive in Murchison Falls National Park plains. The morning game viewing experience ushers you into the Northern Plains to see big game, giraffes, antelopes, warthogs, birds and enjoy the unique landscape characterized by vast savannas, acacia trees and palm trees. Retreat from morning Murchison Falls game drive to have lunch.

After a relaxed lunch, be part of the 2:00pm boat trip to the bottom of the falls for 2 to 3 hours while spotting the basking Nile crocodiles, hippos, aquatic birds. Embark on a trek to the top of Murchison Falls after magical photography experience at its base.

Day 8: Murchison Falls – Hoima – Kibale Forest National Park.

Enjoyable cup of tea/coffee and after, leave your lodge for Kibale via Hoima, enjoy rift valley escarpments en-route. Transferring to Kibale will take you about 8 hours and lunch will be offered in For Portal city then you connect to the park.

Day 9: Kibale Forest N/Park (Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi guided walk).

Breakfast early and after, go attend for briefing on Kibale chimp tracking rules at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre. Meet other visitors during the 6:30am to 8:00am briefing where you will also be allocated to a park guide. A search for a habituated chimp community can last you for 2-4 hours inclusive of 1 hour with chimpanzees.

Kibale National Park is a primate capital boasting 13 primate species including over 1500 chimpanzees plus several monkey species majority of which can be spotted while trekking with chimps. Retreat for lunch to be offered at the lodge and later in the afternoon, spend sometime on Bigodi guided walk.

Day 10: Kibale N/P-Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Early breakfast and after, vacate your lodge for Kasenda Crater lake guided walk & later, Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru cave exploration. Retreat from cave experience for lunch break and continue to QENP for overnight stay in your reserved lodge.

Day 11: Queen Elizabeth N/P (Game drive experience & boat trip).

Breakfast early morning and after, catch up with your game driver guide ready to embark on 2-3 hours game drive on Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kasese. Queen Elizabeth N/Park game viewing experience includes seeing interesting mammals such as hyenas, elephants, Kobs, buffaloes, lions, leopards and birds.
